News from upcoming project ‘Shepherd’s autumn’!

In fall 2011 I travelled, together with Dick Kaat, to Bulgaria to make an photographic series about sheep and goat herders. After a journey of over sixthousend kilometers by car we came back with a big bag full of exposed photo rolls. The result of this will manifest in different ways within a new project called Shepherd’s autumn. Shepherd’s autumn is a photographic study of the shepherds in the Bulgarian countryside and what this looks like in the fall. In addition the story tells about the individual shepherd and how he relates to this work culture.

In order to reach a wide audience and to let the project grow Shepherd’s autumn is curious about collaborations with other creatives, space for exhibitions, financial impulse and collectors of art. Therefore a small selection and information will be soon available on this website.
